Know your place TS Lim!

It's an absolute betrayal when you turn your back on your friend. Worse if you back stab him or her for political gains.
 

TS Lim Kok Wing has no business whatsoever to reprimand former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad or stop him from speaking his mind.
 

And trust me when I say TS Lim need  not spend even a minute of his time worrying about Dr Mahathir's legacy.
 

No one can deny Dr Mahathir's contributions to Malaysia and that he single-handedly transformed this country from an agriculture-based economy to an industrialized nation.
 

He built the Multimedia Super Corridor, improved logistics and infrastructure, gave the International Monetary Fund a run for its money and brought about modernization to Malaysia without compromising on core values.
 

Dr Mahathir was instrumental in putting Malaysia on the world map.
And he did this in his 22-year tenure as the top man in the country, during which time TS Lim was busy kow-towing to Dr Mahathir to get into his good books.
 

He groveled, acted obsequiously in order to obtain favor and perfected his role as a sycophant while Dr Mahathir was on the height of power, loved by Malaysians and feared by many outside the country.
 

But now TS Lim thinks he can advice the former Prime Minister because, in his mind, he believes Dr Mahathir has lost his power or ground support.
 

I suggest TS Lim treads carefully here because UMNO grassroots support for Asia's longest-served Prime Minister has never ebbed.
 

I also suggest Tan Sri Lim spends some quiet time remembering the favours Dr Mahathir did him.
 

TS Lim's aim of establishing a university was made possible by his friendship with Dr Mahathir, who in 1994, also recommended that his buddy be given the honor of coining the African National Congress' slogan.
 

Former South African President Nelson Mandela gave TS Lim such an important task, solely for Dr Mahathir.
 

TS Lim coined the phrase, "A better life for all". And now it's clear that TS Lim wouldn't hesitate the severe ties or crush friendships just to ensure a better life for himself.
